Introducing Kathy Kirchner, our new Network Operations VP for the Americas

We are thrilled to welcome Kathy Kirchner to Indigo as our new Network Operations VP for Americas. With her wealth of experience and innovative approach, Kathy will  focus on capitalising on market opportunities in the region.

Indigo is a global leader in the provision of engineering services for owners and operators of​ digital infrastructure in over 90 countries. We specialise in designing, deploying, and supporting fixed line, subsea, data centres and wireless networks.

With our ongoing success and growth over the last few years, we recently established a stronger presence in the US to serve our American customers.

As well as a fully functioning purpose-built Network Operations Center (NOC) in the USA, we have field engineers across the continents.

Welcome Kathy

Kathy’s new role holds significance with Indigo’s strategic expansion plans, particularly in supporting tech companies, hyperscalers, telecoms and data centres. Essentially any organizations that own or operate a digital infrastructure.

Kathy’s vision for the Network Operations department is centered around driving operational excellence and providing leadership for the business in the Americas.

• Deliver world-class NOC and operational services, surpassing service level and customer satisfaction targets.
• Implement innovative use of data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in network management.
• Provide direction and leadership to the network operations team to achieve long-term goals and support organizational growth.
• Ensure efficient, reliable day-to-day network operations aligned with industry best practices.

Kathy has held a number of senior operations roles in the telecommunications sector and beyond. Most recently she was part of the leadership team at Archtop Fiber, where she led the operations functions for startup fiber overbuilder and affiliates providing residential and commercial broadband services. She has also worked in customer operations, product development and operations, technology, customer service, sales, including many happy years at Comcast.

We extend a warm welcome to Kathy as our new Network Operations VP for the Americas. With her leadership, we’re confident that Indigo will continue to thrive and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
